In particular, we find that $\Lambda$CDM model is disfavored at more than $2\sigma$ CL for most of the observational datasets considered in this work and PEDE is in agreement with Planck 2018+BAO+R19 combination within $1\sigma$ CL.

Since CEDE prefers a non-trivial transition when we consider both high redshift Planck CMB data and local Hubble constant measurements, we conclude that $H_0$ tension can be a hint for the substructure of the dark energy as a well-studied properties of critical phenomena.

We perform a multi-tracer analysis using the complete Sloan Digital Sky Survey IV (SDSS-IV) extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (eBOSS) DR16 luminous red galaxy (LRG) and the DR16 emission line galaxy (ELG) samples in the configuration space, and successfully detect a cross correlation between the two samples, and find the growth rate to be $f\sigma_8=0. 342 \pm 0. 085$ ($\sim25$ per cent accuracy) from the cross sample alone.
