The Gaia-Kepler Stellar Properties Catalog. II. Planet Radius Demographics as a Function of Stellar Mass and Age

2 code implementations29 May 2020 Travis A. Berger, Daniel Huber, Eric Gaidos, Jennifer L. van Saders, Lauren M. Weiss

We measure the stellar mass dependence of the planet radius valley to be $d \log R_{\mathrm{p}}$/$d \log M_\star = 0. 26^{+0. 21}_{-0. 16}$, consistent with the slope predicted by a planet mass dependence on stellar mass ($0. 24-0. 35$) and core-powered mass-loss (0. 33).

The Gaia-Kepler Stellar Properties Catalog. I. Homogeneous Fundamental Properties for 186,301 Kepler Stars

2 code implementations21 Jan 2020 Travis A. Berger, Daniel Huber, Jennifer L. van Saders, Eric Gaidos, Jamie Tayar, Adam L. Kraus

An accurate and precise Kepler Stellar Properties Catalog is essential for the interpretation of the Kepler exoplanet survey results.

How to Constrain Your M dwarf II: the mass-luminosity-metallicity relation from 0.075 to 0.70$M_\odot$

1 code implementation16 Nov 2018 Andrew W. Mann, Trent Dupuy, Adam L. Kraus, Eric Gaidos, Megan Ansdell, Michael Ireland, Aaron C. Rizzuto, Chao-Ling Hung, Jason Dittmann, Samuel Factor, Gregory Feiden, Raquel A. Martinez, Dary Ruiz-Rodriguez, Pa Chia Thao

The result can be used to determine masses of single stars with a precision of 2-3%, which we confirm by a comparison to dynamical masses from the literature.

Revised Radii of Kepler Stars and Planets Using Gaia Data Release 2

2 code implementations1 May 2018 Travis A. Berger, Daniel Huber, Eric Gaidos, Jennifer L. van Saders

Using the revised stellar radii, we recalculate the radii for 2123 confirmed and 1922 candidate exoplanets.
