MTST (Mobile Turkish Scene Text)
Introduced by Muhammet et al. in MT3S: Mobile Turkish Scene Text-to-Speech System for the Visually Impaired
The Mobile Turkish Scene Text (MTST 200) dataset consists of 200 indoor and outdoor Turkish scene text images.
The images were collected with mobile phones and downsized to 576 × 1024 (portrait) or 1024 × 576 (landscape) pixels. The text lines are horizontal or near horizontal, some with slight in– and out-of-plane rotations.
