A broad component that is red-shifted from the galaxy emission is detected in four (low- and high-J) CO and [CI] transitions and in the ionized phase, which ensures a robust estimate of the expelled gas mass.

We study structural properties of spectroscopically confirmed massive quiescent galaxies at $z\approx 3$ with one of the first sizeable samples of such sources, made of ten $10. 8<\log(M_{\star}/M_{\odot})<11. 3$ galaxies at $2. 4 < z < 3. 2$ in the COSMOS field whose redshifts and quiescence are confirmed by HST grism spectroscopy.
