GraspNeRF: Multiview-based 6-DoF Grasp Detection for Transparent and Specular Objects Using Generalizable NeRF

1 code implementation12 Oct 2022 Qiyu Dai, Yan Zhu, Yiran Geng, Ciyu Ruan, Jiazhao Zhang, He Wang

In this work, we tackle 6-DoF grasp detection for transparent and specular objects, which is an important yet challenging problem in vision-based robotic systems, due to the failure of depth cameras in sensing their geometry.

Semantic Amodal Segmentation

Admissible Time Series Motif Discovery with Missing Data

no code implementations15 Feb 2018 Yan Zhu, Abdullah Mueen, Eamonn Keogh

Although there has been more than a decade of extensive research, there is still no technique to allow the discovery of time series motifs in the presence of missing data, despite the well-documented ubiquity of missing data in scientific, industrial, and medical datasets.

Quantum Similarity Testing with Convolutional Neural Networks

no code implementations3 Nov 2022 Ya-Dong Wu, Yan Zhu, Ge Bai, Yuexuan Wang, Giulio Chiribella

The task of testing whether two uncharacterized quantum devices behave in the same way is crucial for benchmarking near-term quantum computers and quantum simulators, but has so far remained open for continuous-variable quantum systems.

Robust Time Series Chain Discovery with Incremental Nearest Neighbors

no code implementations3 Nov 2022 Li Zhang, Yan Zhu, Yifeng Gao, Jessica Lin

Inspired by a recent work that tracks how the nearest neighbor of a time series subsequence changes over time, we introduce a new TSC definition which is much more robust to noise in the data, in the sense that they can better locate the evolving patterns while excluding the non-evolving ones.
