Evidence of type-I and type-II superconductivity and their coexistence in ZrB12

no code implementations20 Oct 2019 P. K. Biswas, A. D. Hillier, R. P. Singh, N. Parzyk, G. Balakrishnan, M. R. Lees, C. D. Dewhurst, E. Morenzoni, y, D. McK. Paul

Analysing the local magnetic field distribution obtained from the muSR spectra we identify regions of a Meissner state where the applied magnetic field is entirely expelled from the sample, an intermediate state where normal and Meissner states coexist, and a mixed state where a well-defined flux-line lattice is formed.
