"Cellular Network Densification Increases Radio-Frequency Pollution": True or False?

no code implementations2 Oct 2020 Luca Chiaraviglio, Sara Turco, Giuseppe Bianchi, Nicola Blefari Melazzi

Results, obtained over a wide set of representative 5G scenarios, dispel the myth: cellular network densification triggers an RFP decrease (up to three orders of magnitude) when the radiated power from the BS is adjusted to ensure a minimum sensitivity at the cell edge.

Adaptive mitigation of the Air-Time pressure in LoRa multi-gateway architectures

no code implementations16 Jun 2019 Francesca Cuomo, Manuel Campo, Enrico Bassetti, Lorenzo Cartella, Federica Sole, Giuseppe Bianchi

LoRa is a promising technology in the current Internet of Things market, which operates in un-licensed bands achieving long-range communications and with ultra power devices.
