The method extends the Carr-Purcell-Meiboom-Gill (CPMG) cycle under a static field gradient by discretely incrementing the $\pi$-pulse spacings to simultaneously avoid off-resonance effects and probe a range of timescales ($50 - 500$ microseconds).
