Unsupervised Facial Landmark Detection

13 papers with code • 6 benchmarks • 3 datasets

Facial landmark detection in the unsupervised setting popularized by [1]. The evaluation occurs in two stages: (1) Embeddings are first learned in an unsupervised manner (i.e. without labels); (2) A simple regressor is trained to regress landmarks from the unsupervised embedding.

We study the problem of unsupervised discovery and segmentation of object parts, which, as an intermediate local representation, are capable of finding intrinsic object structure and providing more explainable recognition results.

Unsupervised learning of object frames by dense equivariant image labelling

One of the key challenges of visual perception is to extract abstract models of 3D objects and object categories from visual measurements, which are affected by complex nuisance factors such as viewpoint, occlusion, motion, and deformations.
