The HI intensity mapping bispectrum including observational effects

no code implementations22 Feb 2021 Steven Cunnington, Catherine Watkinson, Alkistis Pourtsidou

We present a model of the redshift space HI IM bispectrum including observational effects from the radio telescope beam and 21cm foreground contamination.

HI constraints from the cross-correlation of eBOSS galaxies and Green Bank Telescope intensity maps

no code implementations9 Feb 2021 Laura Wolz, Alkistis Pourtsidou, Kiyoshi W. Masui, Tzu-Ching Chang, Julian E. Bautista, Eva-Maria Mueller, Santiago Avila, David Bacon, Will J. Percival, Steven Cunnington, Chris Anderson, Xuelei Chen, Jean-Paul Kneib, Yi-Chao Li, Yu-Wei Liao, Ue-Li Pen, Jeffrey B. Peterson, Graziano Rossi, Donald P. Schneider, Jaswant Yadav, Gong-Bo Zhao

We present the joint analysis of Neutral Hydrogen (HI) Intensity Mapping observations with three galaxy samples: the Luminous Red Galaxy (LRG) and Emission Line Galaxy (ELG) samples from the eBOSS survey, and the WiggleZ Dark Energy Survey sample.

Multipole expansion for HI intensity mapping experiments: simulations and modelling

1 code implementation13 Feb 2020 Steven Cunnington, Alkistis Pourtsidou, Paula S. Soares, Chris Blake, David Bacon

We include simulations of the cosmological HI signal using N-body and log-normal methods, foregrounds and their removal, as well as instrumental effects.

Hybrid $P_{\ell}(k)$: general, unified, non-linear matter power spectrum in redshift space

1 code implementation11 Nov 2019 Benjamin Bose, Hans A. Winther, Alkistis Pourtsidou, Santiago Casas, Lucas Lombriser, Qianli Xia, Matteo Cataneo

We test this approach against comoving Lagrangian acceleration simulation measurements performed in GR, DGP and $f(R)$ gravity and find that our method performs comparably or better to the dark matter TNS redshift space power spectrum model for dark matter.

HI Intensity Mapping for Clustering-Based Redshift Estimation

no code implementations11 May 2018 Steven Cunnington, Ian Harrison, Alkistis Pourtsidou, David Bacon

We utilise the S3-SAX catalogue which includes HI emission information for each galaxy, which we use to construct HI intensity maps.
