Thwarting Adversarial Examples: An $L_0$-RobustSparse Fourier Transform

no code implementations12 Dec 2018 Mitali Bafna, Jack Murtagh, Nikhil Vyas

We give a new algorithm for approximating the Discrete Fourier transform of an approximately sparse signal that has been corrupted by worst-case $L_0$ noise, namely a bounded number of coordinates of the signal have been corrupted arbitrarily.

PSI (Ψ): a Private data Sharing Interface

3 code implementations14 Sep 2016 Marco Gaboardi, James Honaker, Gary King, Jack Murtagh, Kobbi Nissim, Jonathan Ullman, Salil Vadhan

We provide an overview of PSI ("a Private data Sharing Interface"), a system we are developing to enable researchers in the social sciences and other fields to share and explore privacy-sensitive datasets with the strong privacy protections of differential privacy.
