This is a factor $\sim 0. 25 - 1. 0$ of the previously estimated instantaneous energy injection into the ICM of CLJ1449+0856 from AGN outflows and star formation, that have already been found to be sufficient in globally offsetting the cooling flows in the cluster core.

We show that in very gas-rich galaxies star formation occurs in small gas clusters with masses below $10^{7-8}$ $\mathrm{M}_\odot$ that are themselves located inside giant complexes with masses up to $10^8$ and sometimes $10^9$ $\mathrm{M}_\odot$.

A broad component that is red-shifted from the galaxy emission is detected in four (low- and high-J) CO and [CI] transitions and in the ionized phase, which ensures a robust estimate of the expelled gas mass.

We conducted sub-millimeter observations with the Atacama Large Millimeter/sub-millimeter Array (ALMA) of star-forming galaxies at $z\sim3. 3$, whose gas-phase metallicities have been previously measured.

We further detect the dust continuum of three of the quasars and a strong emission line in one of them, which we identify as CO(4-3).

We study structural properties of spectroscopically confirmed massive quiescent galaxies at $z\approx 3$ with one of the first sizeable samples of such sources, made of ten $10. 8<\log(M_{\star}/M_{\odot})<11. 3$ galaxies at $2. 4 < z < 3. 2$ in the COSMOS field whose redshifts and quiescence are confirmed by HST grism spectroscopy.

We show the integrated $M_{\rm H_2}$-SFR, SFR-$M_*$ and $M_{\rm H_2}$-$M_*$ relation can be simply transformed from the $\mu$-sSFR, SFE-$\mu$ and SFE-sSFR relation, respectively.

We describe the CO Luminosity Density at High-z (COLDz) survey, the first spectral line deep field targeting CO(1-0) emission from galaxies at $z=1. 95-2. 85$ and CO(2-1) at $z=4. 91-6. 70$.
