Generalized Emergent Dark Energy Model and the Hubble Constant Tension

no code implementations5 Mar 2021 Weiqiang Yang, Eleonora Di Valentino, Supriya Pan, Arman Shafieloo, Xiaolei Li

In particular, we find that $\Lambda$CDM model is disfavored at more than $2\sigma$ CL for most of the observational datasets considered in this work and PEDE is in agreement with Planck 2018+BAO+R19 combination within $1\sigma$ CL.

Reconstruction of the dark sectors' interaction: A model-independent inference and forecast from GW standard sirens

no code implementations11 Feb 2021 Alexander Bonilla, Suresh Kumar, Rafael C. Nunes, Supriya Pan

Interacting dark matter (DM) - dark energy (DE) models have been intensively investigated in the literature for their ability to fit various data sets as well as to explain some observational tensions persisting within the $\Lambda$CDM cosmology.

Touch of Neutrinos on the Vacuum Metamorphosis: is the $H_0$ Solution Back?

no code implementations10 Feb 2021 Eleonora Di Valentino, Supriya Pan, Weiqiang Yang, Luis A. Anchordoqui

With the entrance of cosmology in its new era of high precision experiments, low- and high-redshift observations set off tensions in the measurements of both the present-day expansion rate ($H_0$) and the clustering of matter ($S_8$).

2021-$H_0$ Odyssey: Closed, Phantom and Interacting Dark Energy Cosmologies

no code implementations8 Jan 2021 Weiqiang Yang, Supriya Pan, Eleonora Di Valentino, Olga Mena, Alessandro Melchiorri

Up-to-date cosmological data analyses have shown that \textit{(a)} a closed universe is preferred by the Planck data at more than $99\%$ CL, and \textit{(b)} interacting scenarios offer a very compelling solution to the Hubble constant tension.

Dynamical dark energy after Planck CMB final release and $H_0$ tension

no code implementations6 Jan 2021 Weiqiang Yang, Eleonora Di Valentino, Supriya Pan, Yabo Wu, Jianbo Lu

In this article we compare a variety of well known dynamical dark energy models using the cosmic microwave background measurements from the 2018 Planck legacy and 2015 Planck data releases, the baryon acoustic oscillations measurements and the local measurements of $H_0$ obtained by the SH0ES (Supernovae, $H_0$, for the Equation of State of Dark energy) collaboration analysing the Hubble Space Telescope data.

Emergent Dark Energy, neutrinos and cosmological tensions

no code implementations6 Jul 2020 Weiqiang Yang, Eleonora Di Valentino, Supriya Pan, Olga Mena

The Phenomenologically Emergent Dark Energy model, a dark energy model with the same number of free parameters as the flat $\Lambda$CDM, has been proposed as a working example of a minimal model which can avoid the current cosmological tensions.
